Zeus Logo Project
This design project focused on creating a personalized chocolate bar brand called "Singer's" through user-centered research and design. The project translated personal insights into a tangible product design by interviewing a roommate about their chocolate preferences, flavor interests, and aesthetic tastes. The final concept features a vibrant, psychedelic-inspired wrapper with swirling orange and purple patterns, complemented by a bold retro-style typography for the brand name. The product itself is a handmade milk chocolate bar featuring caramel and almond elements, addressing the target user's preference for classic flavor combinations and satisfying textures. The design successfully merges personal elements with professional packaging standards, including required nutritional information and ingredient lists, while maintaining a distinctive visual identity that sets it apart on store shelves. This project demonstrates how consumer research can inform both functional and aesthetic aspects of food packaging design, resulting in a product that feels both personal and marketable.

AIGA Voting Poster
This poster was created as part of AIGA's civic engagement initiative "Design for Democracy," which encourages voter participation through compelling visual design. The concept features a bold, stylized lion's head rendered in powerful reds and purples against a vibrant blue background, paired with an energetic yellow starburst containing the call-to-action "VOTE!" The design employs a striking minimalist approach, with a strong emphasis on geometric shapes and a limited color palette. The lion symbolizes strength and courage, while its roar represents the powerful voice of each voter. The typography is intentionally bold and commanding, with "ROAR FOR CHANGE" serving as both a literal and metaphorical call to action.
Expressive Type
This project delves into the multifaceted role of typography in design, demonstrating how font choice, size, color, and arrangement can transform the inherent meaning of words. Through strategic composition, each piece transcends conventional typography to visually embody the essence of its given word, showcasing the power of type as text, display, and image.
"The Great Escape" Album Cover Mockup
This project challenged me to conceptualize and execute an album cover that transcends literal interpretation, embodying the essence of the album's title through metaphorical visual storytelling. Using Photoshop, I merged multiple photographs to craft a compelling visual metaphor. The focus lies on imaginative editing, composition, and stylistic choices to ensure the album cover represents and enhances the auditory experience it encases.
U.S. Postal Service Stamp Series
This project explores fundamental design principles, focusing on shape, color, form, texture, and line, emphasizing repetition to achieve unity across a series of stamps. Beginning with a set of photographic images, I was tasked with transforming these visuals into vector drawings in Illustrator. Each stamp is designed to stand as a compelling composition in its own right while collectively forming a harmonious set.
Album Poster Collection
This project embarked on the creative challenge of conceptualizing and producing a collection of posters for 3 unique albums, each poster a visual interpretation that explores fundamental design principles and simple design concepts. The aim was to celebrate the album's auditory experience and translate its musical essence into captivating visual narratives. Each poster offers a distinct perspective on the themes and moods of their respective albums. The project underscores the power of minimalist design to convey complex ideas, inviting viewers into a deeper engagement with the music. This collection is a testament to the synergy between sound and sight, showcasing how less can be more in visual communication.
